Do you recognise these symptoms:

●  failing to pay attention ?
●  easily getting distracted ?
●  finding it difficult to complete tasks ?
●  having a poor memory ?
●  having to move about all the time ?
●  having little interest in study ?
●  having difficulties keeping up ?

Longer attention and better concentration helps in all areas of life and will lead to better academic results. Some people, however, suffer more from these conditions than others. If you are concerned that progress is held back by lack of attention or poor concentration, then help is at hand.

Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and lack of concentration can have a number of underlying causes. Most people can, at certain times and under certain circumstances, pay attention and concentrate, but may fail to do so in class, or when required to do certain tasks. In these cases it is more accurate to say that the ability to pay attention and concentrate is distracted by something that's going on in the environment. This distraction may be linked to:

●  how sensory information is perceived;
●  how information is filtered and perceived;
●  how the brain processes the relevant information.

The five senses – hearing, vision, touch, smell and taste – plus our sense of balance and where our body is in the space around us (proprioception) all contribute to how we learn and develop. How the brain receives, filters, processes and interprets the signals from these senses determines how we perceive reality and how we react, behave and express ourselves. The SAS methods are specifically designed to strengthen sensory processing and improve inter-hemispheric synchronisation and communication. The structured training and coaching programmes improve speech & pronunciation, reading & writing, attention & understanding and lead to better behavioural, social and emotional expression.

Client Feedback - Attention Deficit

All clients are requested to complete a post programme questionnaire, evaluating progress in 27 different categories by indicating:

  • Great Improvement = +100 score;
  • Good Improvement = +67 score;
  • Some Improvement = +33 score;
  • No Change = 0 score;
  • Deterioration = -100 score;
  • Not Applicable = not scored.

The aggregated scores will be on a scale from "-100" (all Deteriorate) through "0" (average No Change) to "+100" (all Great Improvement). All positive scores indicate an improvement.

The average scores of the most relevant 10 categories are listed for clients with Attention Deficit / Hyper Activity, highest score first. All 27 categories show positive (improvement) results.
