We will highlight the likely underlying causes of a range of learning and developmental difficulties and what can be done to overcome these. The presentation lasts for about one hour followed by Questions & Answers and is given by Steven Michaëlis. The evening is aimed at parents, but is open to educational and health professionals or anyone interested in the subject.

Workshop "Auditory Processing Disorders and Dyslexia".
A one-day workshop exploring the way our children perceive the world around them and how this impacts on their daily behaviour, learning and development. You will also learn more about Auditory Processing and how this impacts on language development, understanding, memory, reading, writing and speech. The workshop is aimed at parents, but is open to educational and health professionals or anyone interested in the subject.

This is the field of expertise of Sensory Activation Solutions (SAS), an international organisation dedicated to researching, developing and implementing new innovative methods that unlock the innate potential in every person. We help children and adults of all abilities improve attention, social & communication skills, emotional & behavioural maturity and educational achievement. We tackle difficulties such as Attention Deficit, Hyperactivity, Dyslexia, GDD, Autism, CP and Down syndrome. The SAS programmes are used by families and schools throughout the world and are offered to private clients at Centres in London, Istanbul and Ankara (Turkey), and from October 2011 in Brisbane and Toowoomba (Australia).
